Hospice care is a specialized form of medical care designed to provide comfort and quality of life for patients with a life-limiting illness who are no longer pursuing curative treatment. At Walls Universal, we view hospice not as giving up — but as choosing to live fully and peacefully for whatever time remains.
Our interdisciplinary hospice team — including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers — works together to ensure every patient and family feels supported, heard, and cared for.

In-Patient Hospice
When symptoms become difficult to manage at home, we are contracted with an in-patient hospice facility in east Fort Worth provides around-the-clock clinical care in a warm, homelike setting. Private rooms, family accommodations, and a caring staff ensure patients and families feel safe and supported.
Bereavement Support
Our care for families doesn't end at the time of death. We provide up to 13 months of bereavement support — including follow-up calls, counseling resources, and support groups — to help families navigate grief and healing.
